R&D Locations: Rinat, South San Francisco
Rinat is a pioneer in developing protein-based therapeutics and was acquired by Pfizer in 2006. It is now an integral part of Pfizer's Biotherapeutics Research and collaborates with the company's other sites on research that addresses significant unmet medical needs in Neurology, Oncology, Infectious Disease and Cardiovascular, Metabolic and Endocrine Diseases. At Rinat, protein engineers, pharmacologists, biochemists and others bring expertise in developing novel protein- based therapeutics and, by integrating their work in the drug discovery process, have the potential to significantly reduce the amount of time it takes to bring new medicines to patients.
